Duane St. Pierre
Leaving the farmlands of Central Illinois, Duane graduated in 1973 from Southern Illinois University with Bachelor of Science Degrees in both Accounting and Finance. After a few years of practice as a Certified Public Accountant, Duane was awarded the Juris Doctor degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology-Chicago Kent College of Law. Duane is a licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois and the United States Supreme Court.
Having received the coveted American Jurisprudence Award in Criminal Procedure while in law school, Duane pursued his interests in the field of forensic accounting and investigative techniques, surveillance, and security. Duane has been a past Licensed Private Detective for by the State of Illinois, but retired as of 2008.
Because of his accounting and legal background and sensitivity toward the vulnerable and unprotected, Duane was often appointed Guardian ad litem by the Cook County Probate Judges to represent minor children, the elderly, and disabled persons.
Establishing his law firm in Chicago and Palatine, Illinois, Duane represents clients in small businesses, probate, trusts and estate matters, and in family law where he litigates diverse and sophisticated property and family law issues at the trial and appellate levels. |
